x4 Combat Jiu-Jitsu Arm Breaks for Real Self Defense

Free TRITAC Intro Course:
https://soulfighterstraining.com

Learn 4 ways to break the arm using TRITAC-Jitsu concepts and Japanese Ju-Jitsu or Aiki-Jutsu Techniques for Modern Street Self Defense.

Matt Bryers and Sean Jugler, co-founders of TRITAC-Jitsu use a lot of Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, especially Aiki-Jutsu Combat Techniques / Concepts to attack, submission and break the arms combined with the modern combative entries found in TRITAC.

The Jiu-Jitsu Arm Breaks we teach in this Combat Jiu-Jitsu Video are:

1.) Kimura Lock Submission / Head Smash and Break. Learn how to use the Kimura to control and attack your opponents arm/shoulder. You can use the Kimura lock to throw your opponent or simply smash them into the wall 🙂

2.) Straight Arm Lock – One of our favorite Jiu-Jitsu Arm Breaks is the straight arm lock from the underhook control. Underhook controls combined with Combat Jiu-Jitsu Striking Techniques gives you the opportunity to break your opponents arm using simple jiu-jitsu techniques.

3.) Kote Mawashi – is a common wrist lock or joint lock that is often found in Aikido / Japanese Ju-Jitsu / Aiki-Jutsu systems… but is taught in many martial arts. Typically this jiu-jitsu arm break or wrist lock technique is hard to execute. But, combine it with Combative Striking elements found in TRITAC, and it becomes a very powerful joint lock or arm break for self defense Jiu-Jitsu.

4.) Inside Arm Twist – The last Aiki-Jutsu Self-Defense Technique is a jiu-jitsu arm break that takes a good training partner to learn this jiu-jitsu technique. Or… not only will you break arms, but you’ll smash your training partners face into the ground. For Jiu-Jitsu Self Defense … who cares!

Top 4 Jiu-Jitsu Techniques to Escape Rear Choke

TRITAC-Jitsu Lessons:

The rear-choke is one on the worst situations you can be from a self-defense perspective and when training Jiu-Jitsu.

There are many techniques to escape the rear choke, but these are our favorite Jiu-Jitsu techniques to escape a choke, and finish with a throw, takedown, control or submission.

4 Jiu-Jitsu Techniques to Escape Choke:

1.) Ippon Seo Nage – a very common judo / jujitsu throw to drive your opponent into the ground. In this self-defense version of the ippon seo nage, we’ll use a Combat Jiu-Jitsu stance to drop your opponent.

2.) Osoto Gari – Another very common Judo or Ju-Jitsu leg-trip throw. In this version of the Osoto Gari Rear Choke Self-Defense, we’ll use your opponents “action” to step behind him and trip him with the Osoto Gari Takedown

3.) Judo Lock – The judo lock escape is one of the best self defense moves when your opponent has their arms around your neck and is choking you. It is a simple movement that easily gives you jiu-jitsu control over your opponent.

4.) Yoko Wakare – this Ju-Jitsu throw is also a side fall and sacrifice throw that uses gravity to throw your opponent over your shoulder. It is very effective, and quick self-defense takedown.

You will also learn a jiu-jitsu training drill to put all of these self-defense Jiu-Jitsu techniques together.

The rules are simple – go as hard as you want to go! Punches, Hammer Fists, Knees, Elbows, Takedowns, and Submission Fighting.

Each year non-Black Belt students have a chance to challenge the black belts for a bottle of sake. This year we used tournament style to allow the under-belts a chance to battle each other for the sake!
