Modern Unarmed & Armed Combat Martial Arts Training

TRITAC Martial Arts is a Grouping of 3 Martial Arts Systems that all focus on the same goal:

TRITAC is designed to give you the Power to Defend Yourself, Protect & Help Others, and Enhance Yourself… essentially the training to become a Modern Warrior.

TRITAC is “alive” and ever-evolving.  It is not about Ego, Master’s Worship or anything else.
In Combat – it should always answer the question “Does it work”?
In Life – it gives you the vehicle to “develop yourself” by training and studying combat.

There are no wrong questions or wrong ideas to explore in TRITAC – but ultimately our techniques and training MUST provide you with the confidence and ability to DEFEND, PROTECT, SURVIVE & DISCOVER.

The world of martial arts is rapidly evolving… and the need for a real self-defense system is a must for any man or woman who has the Warrior drive to: Fight, Survive and Protect Others.

TRITAC not only gives you the skills to Fight, Survive and Protect others – it also gives you a Strong Body, Confident & Ready Mind, and the “Warrior Spirit” to persevere in any situation.

TRITAC Martial Arts was designed for the sole purpose of  “dealing with life and death street violence”.  It addresses what most Martial Art styles don’t or can’t:
“Can I deal with an Armed Criminal, Armed Psychotic, or Armed Terrorist and Survive”?

TRITAC-Martial Arts is focused on Reality-Based Combat.  We offer 3 Systems under TRITAC Martial Arts.  Click Here to Learn More about our systems

TRITAC is built upon the concept of a TRIBE.  Warriors need each other to learn, train, discover and test each other.  There is a relationship that is formed between those who train in the Warrior Arts that is hard to put a finger on.  But as a TRITAC Warrior, you know that your the brothers and sisters of TRITAC will always have your back.

TRITAC: Origin Story

Learn about the history and philosophy of TRITAC Martial Arts from Co-Founder: John Leabo

The TRITAC-Unarmed Systems is an Empty-Hand Street Combatives Martial Art developed by John Leabo and Michael Simon; and Soul Fighters Academy.  TRITAC-Unarmed focuses primarily on striking-based defense and attack, where multiple opponents, and unseen “street variables” are always present.

Influenced by Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Kick Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Silat, Keysi Fighting Method, Defence Lab and Filipino Martial Arts (to name a few), the TRITAC-Unarmed System was designed to be as instinctive yet efficient as possible; natural, flowing body movements and mechanics that can be made without much thought or planning, while still capitalizing on strength, speed, and accuracy.

The TRITAC-Jitsu System is a Modern Combat Jiu-Jitsu System developed by Matt Bryers and Sean Jugler; and Soul Fighters Academy.

TRITAC-Jitsu is a evolutionary program that focuses on the “flow of combat”. The system combines elements of the revolutionary TRITAC Systems and the highly effective art of Jiu-Jitsu.  Jiu-Jitsu is known as one of the most combat-effective martial arts styles.  Jiu-Jitsu primarily a grappling style that was originally used for reality-based self-defense.

The integration and blend of the TRITAC Systems, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Japanese Ju-Jitsu creates a unique and highly effective Jiu-Jitsu System that answers the question: “Does it Work?”

NO BS Weapons Combatives System.

In the brutal reality of street combat empty-hand combat just isn’t enough.  Stick, Knife & Handgun Combatives.

What others say about TRITAC

TRITAC training is more then a fighting style, it’s a realistic mindset. It allows a person to train their body and mind transforming him/her into a more confident and aware individual. The style is both realistic and animalistic, just like the streets. Being a student, I am better able to protect myself, my family, and the public. It is another tool that I have added to my arsenal.

Michael B.Federal Agent, Department of Homeland Security

TRITAC is simply THE source to fighting effectively and defending your life against “Real World” attackers and scenarios. After one session, I was completely blown away by the real world applications of the “fighting method” in dealing with human instincts, not just principles or forms. I’m hooked on the training, and I’m positive that what I’m learning will serve me well in life.

John Y.New Jersey State Law Enforcement Officer

As a police officer for the past 26 years and actively teaching Defensive Tactics since 1993, I have explored and studied numerous systems around the world in a pursuit to better myself and my ability to coach. I have previously drawn upon my Martial Arts experiences beginning at 8 years of age as well as opportunities to travel worldwide sharing my knowledge and learning from others. As a result of my continued growth, I recently attended an IDC (Instructor Development Camp) at TRITAC Lynbrook New York hosted by John Leabo and his cadre of Instructors and had the threshold of my training pushed beyond my wildest imagination. The TRITAC Training is the first complete training that I have encountered that addresses realistic situations in all areas of combat including stand-up, kneeling, sitting, from the ground, including multiple assailants and can easily transfer into a weapons based system as an extension of it’s basic concepts. It evolves around gross motor skills easily accessible under pressure and grows into effective tools quickly based on our own personal physiology and the bio-mechanical responses of our opponents. John Leabo and his Spartiates’ have stepped right out of the pages from “Gates of Fire” having developed and coaching our group through a series of intense drills to develop the specific skill sets required to survive the realistic situations depicted above. Their professionalism and integrity helped create one of my greatest learning experiences and have changed the way that I will now train and coach those influenced by me.

Sean M.Police Officer and Tactics Trainer, Ontario, Canada

I do security at the front door of several famous NYC Night Clubs. When someone or a group of rowdy people get kicked out of the club for fighting I am the one person who has to keep them out of the nightclub. I found in a one on one confrontation I was comfortable and confident with my previous Martial Arts training but when it came to defending myself against more then one attacker I was not properly trained so I started training at the TRITAC. In one year of training I feel and know I can handle and control multiple attackers at the same time now. TRITAC Training is the closest you can come to training against real group attackers. It is a “Reality Based” Martial Arts Training Center that is definitely designed for the REAL world today!
