Connect what you know. Survive the chaos.

The problem

You know plenty of techniques. Do they connect?

Most people don't train at a school. You train in a garage, a basement or a park, with a bag that doesn't hit back. Then real life shows up: a guy 50 pounds heavier, his friends, no warning, maybe a blade. What you know has to connect, fast.

That's what TRITAC is built for.

  • You hit the bag in your garage, but a bag doesn't hit back.
  • You train alone, and you're never sure what to work on next.
  • You know a lot of techniques, but not what links to what.
  • Someone bigger takes you down, and you can't get back up.

See one connection

From the fence to the clinch.

A drunk guy comes at my partner. Watch how the fence buys space, and how that same fence becomes the way in to the clinch. One move leads to the next. That's what the 3 days are about.

What makes it stick

Your training, mapped.

Here is the connection from the clip, on the real TRITAC map. The fence lives under Defense, and it leads into the clinch. Every technique sits on this map: what it is, what connects to it, and what to drill next.

This map lives in the TRITAC Hub, our training app. Your ticket includes 21 days of it. After each live day, find what we covered and see what connects to it.

Train it alone

No partner? Use a BOB.

This is how I drill the same connections on my own, on BOB, the body opponent bag. Frames, clinch entries, knees, getting the back. A heavy bag or a grappling dummy works too.

  2. Rounds 3-4Ground movement
  3. Rounds 5-6Mace, light hammer or Indian clubs

3-minute rounds, short rest between. We build yours on Day 2.

Is this for you

Built for people who already train

This is for you if

  • You train now, or you used to, and you want it to work outside the rules.
  • You train alone a lot and want a routine that actually builds something.
  • You lead a small group, or want to, and need a way to teach defense that makes sense.

This isn't for you if

  • You want a workout video.
  • You want to memorize 100 new techniques.
  • You want a new style to copy move for move.

Your coach

I'm Matt Bryers.

I started in 1991, a skinny, shy kid who got bullied. I wasn't naturally gifted. I lost a lot, kept showing up, and got good. That still shapes how I coach.

Since then I've earned a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Rafael Formiga Barbosa and a 5th Dan in Kobukai Jujitsu under Russ St. Hilaire. I spent years in Kyokushin under Shihan Fujiwara, plus wrestling, boxing, judo, Muay Thai, Kali and MMA. I've taught since 2007, run my own school since 2009, and corner my fighters in the cage. For 9 of those years I also worked the door at the biggest nightclub in Connecticut.

Over 5,000 students, I kept seeing the same thing. People learned hundreds of techniques and never saw how they connect. So I built TRITAC to connect them, so you build a way of fighting that fits your body.

Questions

Before you ask

I can't make noon.

Every session has a replay for 7 days. Watch it that night.

Do I need a partner, mats or gear?

No. A bag helps. Day 2's routine works with nothing at all.

Do I train along, or just watch?

Both. Each day ends with a drill we do together, live. You need space to take a couple of steps. Each replay stays up for 7 days.

I'm not in great shape.

Go at your pace. The drills scale to you, and nobody is watching you on camera.

Is this a sales pitch?

Days 1 and 2 are all training. At the end of Day 3, I'll offer a 90-day coaching program. If you like how we train and want me watching your training, you can join. If not, keep the routine and train on your own.

What happens after 21 days?

The Hub continues at a month unless you cancel. Cancel any time before .
