Mitt work · TRITAC Training Center, Cromwell CT

TRITAC training starts with the person, not a fixed style.

At TRITAC we don't force you into a style or system. We get to know your goals and instincts, and will tailor a custom training plan and training experience that will help you rapidly improve your ability to fight and defend yourself, even if you've never trained before or are way out of shape.

Your plan sits within one of three training scopes: MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, or Combatives. Your goals, instincts, experience, body, equipment, and access to training partners shape the work inside it.

The method

The Method Is Connection

TRITAC's method is connection. Your goals connect to a custom plan. The plan connects to daily tasks, videos, flows, and clips. Striking connects to the clinch. The clinch connects to takedowns. Takedowns connect to ground control, escapes, and submissions. Your training connects to a real coach who can see what you are doing.

A lesson includes its context: what sets the technique up, what can stop it, and what it opens next. You study exchanges, not isolated moves.

TRITAC flows connect striking, clinch, takedowns, and ground as one continuous sequence. You train the transitions because fights happen in transitions. The 3D player lets you study a flow from either fighter's side and at any speed before you drill it.

The log screen in the hub: when you trained, whether it was solo, drilled or live, what you worked on, and a box for a note or a clip as proof

Open the Hub and your work is waiting. Each task has a specific job, a training format, and the lesson attached to it. Twelve focused minutes counts.

The loop is simple: task, train, log, adapt.

Log your work in two taps as solo, drilled, or live. Solo repetitions count. Drilled work counts more. Live rounds count most.

Your logged training moves your personal skill map, showing what you have practiced and what needs more work. The plan adapts to what the map shows. There is no paying for rank.

You can train solo, on a bag, with a BOB, with a partner, or in class. The Hub includes 1,400+ technique videos, hundreds of two-person flows, and live classes every day, with up to five livestream classes coming off the Cromwell mat.

Kickstart includes a private 30-minute coaching call with Matt. Members receive a coach call every quarter. The clip studio lets a coach review your rounds even when that coach cannot stand beside you.

What Online Training Cannot Do

Online training gives you structure, context, coaching, and useful work for the days you are not on a mat.

It cannot give you contact, resistance, or another person genuinely trying to stop you. It cannot physically correct your position during a round. It cannot put training partners in the room, and it cannot replace sparring.

The Hub is not a replacement for the mat.
