Understand the skill.
Practice its foundations.

The five-course Intro Pack introduces the TRITAC System, stance, footwork, core skills and solo training. Use it to learn the vocabulary and movement that later lessons build on.

You access the free pack inside the Hub with the same email you use to join. It is an introduction to the system; it does not include all Combatives courses or a private coaching meeting.

Build an honest practice

Know what
you are developing.

Solo familiarity

Use suitable solo drills to develop coordination, positioning and familiarity with the movement. Clear space and work within your current ability.

Partner understanding

Distance, contact, timing and another person’s resistance need partner work. Learn the format with an appropriate coach before increasing intensity.

Decisions and context

Self-defense involves recognizing a situation and choosing whether and how to act. A physical drill or video alone cannot reproduce every situation or guarantee an outcome.

The connected system

Movement. Position.
A way to continue.

TRITAC Combatives brings close-range striking and grappling together. Study how structure, movement and position affect the options available in an exchange.

If you want help choosing what to work on, discuss your experience, equipment and access to partners with a TRITAC coach. Kickstart includes one private starting call; Weekly Coaching provides ongoing individual meetings.

Before you begin

A few practical questions.

Can I begin without a martial arts background?

Yes. Start with foundational explanations and suitable solo practice. A coach can help you choose where partner work belongs as you progress.

Can I learn everything I need by training alone?

Solo study and rehearsal are useful, but contact, resistance and decision-making with another person require appropriate partner training. Online lessons alone do not establish self-defense ability.

What equipment do I need?

Check each lesson before you begin. Some material uses open space; other lessons call for a BOB, heavy bag or partner. Choose practice that fits both the lesson and the resources available to you.

Where can I train in person?

If you are near Cromwell, visit TRITAC Training Center for local classes. Online offers and local gym memberships have separate terms.
